Документ A cross-country study of the direct and inverse relationship between economic globalization and growth(LLC CPC Business Perspectives, 2023) Khoroshun, Oleksiy; Olasiuk, Hanna; Rokocha, Vira; Kumar, Sanjeev; Рокоча, Віра ВолодимирівнаThis study aims to explore the cross-country relationship between economic globalization and growth. It assesses the implications of globalization for the world economy and groups of countries with different income levels. The study employed panel data from the World Bank, the Fraser Institute, and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich for 122 countries from 1970 to 2018. Two-stage fixed effect model was used to assess the impact of globalization on growth. The reverse causality was estimated using the method of instrumental variables. The results showed that the world economy benefited from globalization. In turn, greater openness has reinforced economic growth. The study confirms that globalization benefits are distributed unequally. A significant positive impact of globalization on economic growth is confirmed for high and lowermiddle- income economies with coefficients of 0.02 and 0.01, respectively. Economic growth of high-income countries is determined by financial globalization, while lowermiddle- income countries rely on trade and financial openness. Negative implications of economic globalization took place in upper-middle-income countries with a coefficient of -0.02. In these countries, correlation between trade globalization and growth is -0.13. The effect of economic growth on globalization is found to be significantly positive for high-income (11.08) and upper-middle-income countries (9.62) and statistically insignificant for lower-middle-income economies. © Oleksiy Khoroshun, Hanna Olasiuk, Vira Rokocha, Sanjeev Kumar, 2023.Документ Assessment of financial management by own expenses at hotel and restaurant enterprises(Fintechalliance LLC, 2024) Rumyk, Ihor; Lakiza, Viktoriia; Kurylо, Oksana; Antoshkova, Nataliia; Taranenko, Halyna; Румик, Ігор ІвановичEvaluating a management system is always a complex and debatable process, as it is difficult to find an approach that integrates all aspects of management and allows for a comprehensive assessment that reflects the level satisfying all the needs of enterprise management. This also pertains to financial management, which, despite the possibility of using indicators of the financial activity of the enterprise, also includes a range of other indicators such as technical support, staff, and more. Taking into account the existing challenges, the aim of this article is to propose an original approach to evalu-ating the financial expense management of enterprises. In doing so, recognizing the complexity and individuality of each open socio-economic system, the focus is on en-terprises in the hotel and restaurant industry. Accordingly, it is possible to present a scientific objective that involves the development of an integrated approach to assessing the effectiveness of financial expense management in hotel and restaurant enterprises through the enhancement and addition of new indicators. The research methodology involves the use of general scientific methods such as abstraction, analysis, synthesis, etc. However, the key methods are integral methods for determining the consolidated index and expert analysis. In combination, they facilitated the identification of the im-portance of indicators and the obtaining of assessment results. The main result of the study was the identification of operating hotel and restaurant enterprises and, based on their data and information, calculation of indicators which ultimately allowed the calcu-lation and analysis of the dynamic, consolidated index of the effectiveness of financial management of expenses. The limitation concerns not considering an even broader spectrum of indicators, as the concept of "effectiveness" is extremely broad and our proposed list is not exhaustiveДокумент Assessment of the impact of the armed conflict in Ukraine on the development of the agricultural sector and price setting(Polissia National University, 2021) Semenenko, Oleh; Minochkin, Anatolii; Vasylenko, Serhii; Klepikov, Valerii; Pravdyvets, Oleksandr; Правдивець, Олександр МиколайовичThis paper analyses the impact of the armed conflict in Ukraine on the development of the agricultural sector and changes in average prices of agricultural products, and also identifies a possible relationship between changes in prices for agricultural products and financial expenditures for defence needs. The paper also investigates the possible relationship between changes in military spending, gross harvest of cereals and legumes, harvested and threshed area, their yield levels. The study considers how the presence and duration of armed conflict in the country affects: macroeconomic indicators, intensity of hostilities and their localisation in areas of economic activity, gross domestic product (GDP), government expenditures, export-import indicators; household expenditures and domestic investment, consumer and household expenditures. All this, indirectly, has an impact on fluctuations in average prices of products of different sectors of agriculture sold by enterprises. The study takes into account the importance of the agricultural sector of Ukraine, which is a significant part of the country GDP. The dependence of military spending on the size of GDP is the reason for analysing the relationship between the impact of the existing armed conflict on changes in the state of agriculture in Ukraine. One of the results of such actions was also the spending of more money on the purchase of agricultural products to support the defence needs of the state, etc. Therefore, to understand the magnitude of the impact of gross harvest factors, crop yields, and agricultural land volumes on the pricing of agricultural output using the method of statistical equation dependencies, the findings of the relevant analysis can be used as a basis for developing approaches, methods, and techniques to improve crop yields, or – initiate economic development of the country by increasing agricultural crop yieldsДокумент Constitutional and legal principles of building a welfare state in Ukraine(Львівський державний університет внутрішніх справ, 2023) Lutskyi, Roman; Zvarych, Roman; Skomorovskyi, Vitalii; Korytko, Liliia; Oliynyk, Olga; Скоморовський, Віталій БогдановичThe study’s findings were intended to ascertain how the idea of creating a social state developed on the territory of Ukraine and other states, and how this concept was reflected in modern countries. The paper examines the basic principles underlying the construction of a social state and their constitutional consolidation; which essential liberties and rights of an individual or citizen are protected by the way the idea of a social state operates, etc. Statistical data on life satisfaction indicators of people in different countries are also provided in light of different methods of social policy implementation. Various models and options for further building a social state on the territory of Ukraine are presented, considering the current situation associated with a full-scale war. The paper describes the experience of European countries in successfully reforming the social sphere, in particular, Denmark, Switzerland, etc. The authors also present a model of the social state of the future, taking into account the changing needs of society, digitalisation, well-being, etc. The outcomes can be applied to further enhance Ukraine’s social policy legislation by lawyers, sociologists, and scientistsДокумент Construction of a portfolio formation method by configuring project-candidates based on flow characteristics(Technology Center, 2020) Rach, Valentyn; Abdulkadir, Kabir; Medvedieva, Olena; Biriukov, Oleg; Rossoshanska, Olha; Рач, Валентин Анатолійович; Медведєва, Олена Михайлівна; Россошанська, Ольга ВалентинівнаA method for portfolio formation, based on the logical methodological technique for configuring projects-candidates, which are represented by the S-curves of a cost flow and expected results, has been proposed. The application of the technique makes it possible to present a portfolio as continuously going processes of accumulation of potential attractiveness of different combinations of projects rather than a static totality of projects. Configuring has been shown to allow finding such a sequence of the mutual location of projects within a portfolio, in which the criterion, taking into account different types of the flow, reaches a maximum value. Using the S-curves makes it possible to account for changes in the indicators of flows that depend on the time of starting a project in the portfolio and affect its attractiveness. The developed model of portfolio formation, the system-creating factor of which is the configuring technique, revealed the relations between its structural elements, which made it possible to identify the essence of the criterial attractiveness indicator and a portfolio configuration criterion. In calculating attractiveness, the proposed technique for the S-curve coagulation procedure, which implies the discounting of cumulative flows, was used. This coagulation enables obtaining an integral indicator that takes into account the specific features of particular S-curves and opens up the possibility of using any type of flows in the problems of assessing and comparing projects and portfolios. Based on the attractiveness indicator and the use of a procedure for rationing the discounted cumulative flows, a portfolio-forming criterion has been developed. It was established that the criterion adequately reflects a greater attractiveness of projects with a decreasing character of costs and less funding time at the same parameters for the expected results. This fact has been proven by the results of computer simulation. In addition, it was confirmed that the constructed method makes it possible to take into account the strategic importance of a project, the specificity of a portfolio financing schedule, as well as the specific features in the character of changes in a project cost and the expected project result. © 2020, V. A historical investigation into the shared origins of the Ukrainian population and European peoples is conducted, emphasizing Slavic heritage and communal settlements. The regulatory framework governing the progress of Ukrainian culture in its independent state is delineated. The primary hypotheses and trajectories for the advancement of Ukrainian cultural policy, as articulated in the "Long-term Strategy for the Development of Culture until 2025," are expounded upon. In aggregate, it is ascertained that the outlined objectives within the Strategy currently fall short of addressing the imperatives incumbent upon the nation to affirm its national identity and align with the attainments of European civilization. It is discerned that the absence of a cultural diplomacy framework in Ukraine stands in stark contrast to the substantial outcomes achieved through this paradigm across the majority of European Union member states. Additionally, an exploration of both shared features and distinctions in cultural policy and strategy between the European Union as an entity and select member countries is undertaken. The European Union's strategy, characterized by its dynamic and targeted approach, is notable for its commitment to preserving the integrity of nations and ethnicities. This strategy places considerable emphasis on respecting the distinct national identities and traditions of each country and its constituent nations. Of particular significance is the instance of the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Italy, and Finland, wherein the cultivation of cultural diplomacy has been a focal point. These examples underscore the diverse routes undertaken to achieve cultural recognition and formulate distinct cultural strategies for each nation. This serves as an indication that cultural policy ought to evolve into a responsibility shared among the state, diplomatic representatives, and cultural stakeholders within Ukraine. The ongoing conflict instigated by Russia underscores once again the multi-dimensional trajectory characterizing Ukraine's cultural evolution. It underscores Ukraine's heightened dedication to unity and the rejuvenation of the European principles that were proclaimed during the twentieth centuryДокумент Digital Resilience of the Bucharest Nine and Ukraine(EconJournals, 2025) Shkuropadska, Diana; Tokar, Volodymyr; Purdenko, Olena; Lotariev, Andrii; Savchuk, Kyrylo; Токар, Володимир Володимирович; Лотарєв, Андрій ГригоровичThis study examines the digital resilience of the Bucharest Nine, an Eastern European NATO alliance, and Ukraine amidst the challenges of digital transformation. It aims to identify factors influencing their ability to manage cyber threats, digital divides, and socio-economic disparities resulting from rapid digitalization. Using a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative analysis and qualitative insights, the research computes an index of digital resilience based on cybersecurity measures, digital infrastructure quality, and socio-economic impacts. Findings reveal varying resilience levels, with some countries demonstrating robust cyber defenses and advanced digital infrastructures, while others lag due to weaker capacities and socio-economic constraints. Comprehensive policy frameworks and inclusive digital strategies are emphasized as critical for enhancing resilience. However, the study’s focus on the Bucharest Nine and Ukraine may limit broader regional representation, and reliance on available data and potential biases in self-reported indices may affect comprehensiveness. Nonetheless, the insights can inform policymakers in developing targeted strategies to bolster digital resilience, emphasizing cybersecurity, bridging the digital divide, and promoting digital literacy and participation. This research contributes to understanding digital resilience by offering a comparative analysis of often overlooked geopolitical regions, combining various indicators to provide a holistic view of their digital landscapesДокумент Digitization of the Production Process: An Example of The Use of RFID Technologies For Modern Enterprises(Transnational Press London Ltd, 2024) Denysov, Oleg; Litvin, Nataliia; Lotariev, Andrii; Oliinyk, Vitalii; Денисов, Олег Євгенійович; Літвін, Наталія Миколаївна; Лотарєв, Андрій ГригоровичThe purpose of the study is to improve the efficiency of the production process of engineering enterprises. The object of study is enterprise engineering. The scientific task is to determine the most optimal RFID technologies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the production process of engineering enterprises. The technique involves the use of the Saaty method of hierarchies and pairwise comparison. As a result, the most optimal and effective RFID technologies were selected to improve the production process of engineering enterprises through hierarchical ordering of the most significant RFID technologies that affect the production process of engineering enterprises. One limitation of this study is its exclusive focus on RFID technologies, which may not take into account the potential of other technology solutions to improve manufacturing processes. In addition, the use of Saaty's method of hierarchies and even comparison may introduce subjectivity into the selection of optimal technologies, since the results depend on expert assessments. Prospects for further research may include comparison of RFID with other modern technologies that are being implemented in engineering enterprises to ensure greater objectivity and completeness of the analysis. Also, an important aspect of future research could be a detailed analysis of the impact of RFID implementation on the economic efficiency of production and employee workload.Документ Economic and mathematical modeling of loan risks for credit unions(Allied Business Academies, 2019) Garbowski, Marek; Lubenchenko, Olga; Perederii, Nadiia; Moskalenko, Nataliia; Rumyk, Ihor; Румик, Ігор ІвановичThe article forms the economic and mathematical models for assessing and determining the level of accumulated loan risk in the loan union. At the same time, segregation of the appropriate types of centers of responsibility, depending on the chosen approach to implementation of management accounting at enterprises was justified. To achieve target performance indicators of responsibility centers an employee motivation system with financial and social incentives was developed aiming not only to identify contribution of certain responsibility centers in the process of accomplishing management goals, but personal contribution of each individual employee. To evaluate sufficiency of information in management reporting, a diagnostic map developed based on analysis of key indicators is proposed. © 2019 Allied Business AcademiesДокумент Exploring contemporary socio-cultural shifts in Ukraine and their effects on strengthening national identity and resilience in times of war(Editorial Salud, Ciencia y Tecnologia, 2025) Marukhovska-Kartunova, Olga; Turenko, Vitalii; Zarutska, Olena; Spivak, Liubov; Vynnychuk, Renata; Маруховська–Картунова, Ольга ОлександрівнаEstablishing a Ukrainian political nation is contingent upon a complex set of circumstances. Ukraine is compelled to wage a war against Russia for its independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. In such times, national self-identification becomes pivotal in consolidating efforts across all resistance fronts. The formation of Ukrainian identity is complicated by the dichotomy within Ukraine's socio-cultural space, where Russian culture, alongside Ukrainian, has had significant influence. Russia's full-scale aggression has facilitated the ultimate dissolution of Russian influence on the self-identification of Ukrainians. This article aims to identify the main socio-cultural trends that influence the transformation of national identity and resilience in Ukraine. Constructivism serves as the principal methodological approach to the research, enabling the analysis of the critical elements of national identity during its formation and development. The research methods include document analysis and sociological data, case studies, comparison, synthesis, deduction, generalisation, and systematisation. The findings of the research indicate that the war has significantly impacted the self-identification processes of Ukrainians, hastening the decolonisation of Ukraine's socio-cultural space. Ukrainians are creating distance from Russian influences, including its culture and cultural outputs like music, literature, and cinema. There is a notable shift towards the use of the Ukrainian language and the gradual adoption of Ukrainian and European symbols over Russian ones. These changes are fostering a more robust national identity, enhancing the societal aspect of this identity, and catalysing a shift from feelings of inferiority to a rise in national pride and patriotism.Документ Features of managing the creative development of the socio-economic system in the conditions of influence of Covid-19 pandemic(Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, 2023) Kopytko, Marta; Zaverbnyj, Andrij; Diachuk, Iryna; Nikonenko, Uliana; Khalina, Olena; Дьячук, Ірина ВіталіївнаThe main purpose of the study is to model the process of managing the creative development of the socio-economic system in the conditions of influence of COVID-19 pandemic. For this, we have applied the methodology of functional modeling and graphical display, which includes the possibility of structural analysis and serves as effective information technology for any control system. Socio-economic systems are a large number of complex organizational structures with a large number of management processes. The largest of these are companies and organizations with appropriate personnel, on which it depends on where the company will move. It is impossible to compete without creative development. For an illustrative example, we used the current socio-economic system in the form of a company, in which creativity and creative development play an important role. As a result, we reflected how, through a convenient and easy-to-use model, it is possible to form clear steps and stages that would informatively reflect creative development for the socio-economic system (company). © 2023 The Author(s).Документ Features of Reforming Economic Legislation in the Conditions of Russian Aggression: Theoretical and Legal Aspects(ASERS Publishing House, 2023) Shevchenko, Anatolii Y.; Vykhryst, Serhiy M.; Ostapenko, Iuliia; Bobrovnyk, Svitlana V.; Loshchykhin, Oleksandr; Вихрист, Сергій МихайловичThe aim of the article is to justify the inexpediency of the abolition of the Economic Code of Ukraine during martial law on the basis on the analysis of international legislation on management. Thus, the analysis of international codified act s on the economic sphere regulation shows that the abolition of the Economic Code of Ukraine does not correspond to the Concepts for updating civil and economic legislation as one of the ways of approximation of domestic legislation to international standards. Apart from that, based on the analysis of current Ukrainian and international legal acts, an attempt is made to explore the problems associated with the use of mechanisms for protecting rights to private property and bringing war criminals to justice for its destruction. Furthermore, the authors propose to improve the mechanisms for protecting the right to private property that is destroyed or damaged as a result of war crimes committed by Russian invaders on the territory of Ukraine. Finally, the authors highlight the key problems related to the restoration of the violated right to pri vate property, which was destroyed or damaged as a result of hostilities on the part of Russia and emphasize the need to adopt international experience in order to increase the effectiveness of mechanisms for defending the violated right to property wi th the assistance of international legal institutions. © 2023, ASERS Publishing House. In today's conditions, it is becoming more and more difficult to develop security strategies for agribusiness enterprises, because factors that have arisen relatively recently, especially of an external nature, have a significant negative impact on the financial activities of enterprises. In order to make optimal financial decisions, the entire toolkit, developed and tested by many years of business experience in the agricultural sector both abroad and in the middle of our country, should be used. One of these methods is economic descriptive cognitive modeling, which allows to analyze external and internal factors influencing the activities of enterprises, evaluate the strength of their interaction, and graphically display cause-and-effect relationships in a dynamic system. The method of cognitive modeling was studied in order to formalize the influence of exogenous and endogenous processes on the financial activity of agribusiness enterprises. As a result of the research, the components of the development of enterprises in the agricultural sector were analyzed from the standpoint of ensuring the efficiency of their financial activities using cognitive modeling. A matrix of causality and a cognitive map of the influence of a number of factors on the target component "financial activity of the agribusiness enterprises" were built. Impulse modeling of the influence of given concepts was carried out. The results of the conducted cognitive modeling of the influence of factors can be used to develop a safe strategy for the sustainable development of enterprises of other industries in the conditions of dynamic changes. The application of the cognitive approach made it possible to foresee various processes of development of situations in this system that may arise in it under the expected influence of various factors, as well as the influence of regulatory and control systems. © 2024 by the author(s).Документ Formation of development strategies of transport and logistics companies under current conditions(IAEME Publication, 2020) Stetsiv, Iryna S.; Diachuk, Iryna V.; Vdovichena, Olga G.; Heidor, Alla P.; Chervinchuk, Andrii V.; Дьячук, Ірина ВіталіївнаIn the activities of any company there comes a stage when it needs to expand the horizons of its business. It is extremely important to work out a clear sequence of actions that should be performed to achieve maximum results on the threshold of choosing the direction of further development. In fact, the development strategy is such a plan of actions. Therefore, the purpose of this research article is to study the construction features of the development strategy of transport and logistics companies along with the analysis of factors, which should be taken into account during this creating. We have used the method of analysis and synthesis, as well as the method of comparison to conduct the investigation.
