Tourism Management in Kenya

Abstract

The tourism industry in Sub-Saharan Africa has developed at one of the fastest rates in the last decade, with growth rates of more than 10% in 2006, 7% in 2007, and 5% in 2008 and 2009, respectively, and this optimistic trend is expected to continue in the future, despite the global recession. However, there are major differences in tourism growth between countries and sub-regions.
