Organization Theory and Organizational Development: manual for students of full-time and part-time forms of education

Abstract

The manual is designed for students studying the discipline "Organization Theory and Organizational Development". The manual examines the most important aspects of organization theory: its subject, tasks, theoretical and methodological foundations of the organization as a system, process, and object of management; the principles and methods of creating an effective organization, organizational design, forming the optimal structure of the organization, ensuring high organizational culture; the features of the application of information-analytical technologies in the organization's activities. It gives students the basics about mechanisms and principles of organizations functioning and provides students with constructive knowledge in the form of certain methods and techniques for finding solutions to specific organizational tasks and improving organizational structure. The manual is equipped with test tasks, questions for preparing for seminar classes and self-monitoring of acquired knowledge, questions for conducting midterm tests and the final test, a list of recommended literature and a short terminological dictionary.
