The study analyzes the concept of professional deformation, which in the professional activities of doctors is considered as a result and the process of their personal changes as a consequence of the infl uence of the profession. The interconnection between professional deformation of doctors and per-sonal traits, emotional channels of empathy and components of emotional burnout, the type of person’s attitude towards others and self-adaptation are established.
