Документ The Philosophy of War in Ukrainian Culture: A Past to Present(Futurity Research Publishing, 2023) Devterov, Ilia; Marukhovska-Kartunova, Olga; Nikolenko, Kseniia; Маруховська–Картунова, Ольга ОлександрівнаThe purpose of the article is to highlight the philosophical and ideological understanding and perception of war by the Ukrainian people during its cultural and historical development. Constant wars, which have become an integral part of Ukrainian history and culture, have formed a mental readiness for such challenges. In order to achieve the aims and objectives of the research, the author uses the traditional methodological arsenal for qualitative research, namely: analysis of sources that cover the philosophical dimensions of war in Ukraine; comparative analysis of the mental dimension of war in the past and present of Ukrainian culture; philosophical synergistic approach to determining the formation and interaction of ontological, axiological and anthropological constants of military realities. The results of the study point to the transformation of the philosophy of war in Ukrainian culture in the modern period. The current generation of Ukrainians perceives war in a new way and positions its realities in the context of cultural and historical national development and at the individual level of influence. Historically, for a long time, the wars that unfolded on the territory of Ukraine did not have a nationally oriented vector. Therefore, for the Ukrainian culture, the philosophy of war was mainly correlated with the existential aspects of other state entities, focusing on human manifestations (heroism, courage, fear, pain, suffering). The present day has added to these elements the value aspect of national identity. A promising area of research on the philosophy of war in Ukrainian culture is the actualisation of the axiological cluster associated with the real historical perspective of the establishment of Ukrainian national identity. Thus, the philosophy of war has always been a relevant concept reflected in the mentality and cultural traditions of Ukrainians.Документ The Effectiveness of the Project Method in Teaching Humanitarian Disciplines(Universidade Federal de Sergipe/Centro de Educacao Superior a Distancia (CESAD/UFS)., 2024) Stepanenko, Olena; Valentieva, Tatyana; Parfanovich, Ivanna; Svoboda, Ivo; Marukhovska-Kartunova, Olga; Маруховська–Картунова, Ольга ОлександрівнаCutting-edge methodologies within higher education necessitate the cultivation of a proficient and competitive specialist capable of innovative thinking and can perform professionally amidst contemporary volatile circumstances. The purpose of this study was to identify the effectiveness of the project method as an innovative tool for the teaching of humanitarian subjects. The research used such methods as follows: questionnaire, observation, experiment, as well as statistical methods for data processing. In the course of the research, it was determined that the students who were engaged in the project activity, during the project, autonomously researched scientific, reference, educational, and methodological literature. A group of experts found that students’ participation in project activities influenced the development of creative activity and creative systemic thinking, contributed to their self-organization. During the survey, it was determined that students' independent work on creating projects ensures the development of personal and functional components of self-organization. The research's scientific novelty lies in its exclusive focus on students studying humanitarian disciplines. The restricted scope of the experiment facilitated the identifying the project approach as such that can be integrated into the academic system to enhance students' personal and practical proficiencies, thereby promoting their overall growth. Further research can be aimed at determining the effectiveness of using game methods in the course of teaching of humanitarian disciplines.Документ The impact of Russian military aggression on the establishment of a new Ukrainian political nation(Instituto de Estudios Políticos y Derecho Público "Dr. Humberto J. La Roche" de la Facultad de Ciencias Jurídicas y Políticas de la Universidad del Zulia Maracaibo, Venezuela, 2023) Chernets, Vasyl; Stadnyk, Mykola; Marukhovska-Kartunova, Olga; Kolybabiuk, Svitlana; Svorak, Stepan; Маруховська–Картунова, Ольга ОлександрівнаThe open Russian invasion of Ukraine forced the Ukrainian society to defend its right to a unique and consolidated national identity. The aspiration of Ukrainians to preserve their own identity implied, later, the establishment of a new Ukrainian nation. The aim of the study was to analyze the factors influencing the establishment of the Ukrainian political nation in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The method of comparative analysis was used to identify a high level of legal awareness of the constitutional military duty to defend the Fatherland and preserve the Ukrainian nation. It is concluded that in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian military conflict, a new Ukrainian political nation is being established under the influence of ensuring equal rights to culture, language, territory, religion, justice, economy and ethnicity. It was found that Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine forced Ukrainians to unite for the sake of their own preservation as a single Ukrainian political nation. A new Ukrainian political nation, which was established during the Russo-Ukrainian war, is a sovereign community of citizens who have the political subjectivity to put up national resistance to the occupiers.Документ The Role of Online Media in Shaping Public Opinion about the Prospects for Peace and Military Conflict(Pakistan Society of Criminology, 2024) Marukhovskyi, Oleg; Marukhovska-Kartunova, Olga; Kolybabiuk, Svitlana; Pavlova, Liudmyla; Karchevska, Olena; Маруховський, Олег Олександрович; Маруховська–Картунова, Ольга ОлександрівнаThe aim of the article is to find out the connection between online media and the manifestations of the components of public opinion about the military conflict and the prospects for peace. The study uses methods such as content analysis, scaling, and correlation analysis. In the study, the hypothesis of the connection between online media content and societal changes in public opinion in Ukraine during the war was confirmed. It was determined that society’s confidence in victory was significantly related to changes in online media’s information field. The attitude towards the Armed Forces of Ukraine correlates only with the perception of news about military operations. The disposition towards the Ukrainian governing bodies is not contingent upon the interpretation of digital media content. The desire to continue the fight correlates with the war awareness level and reporting on domestic politics in digital media. The idea of future peace in public opinion is closely related to the idea of justice and victory broadcast in online media. © 2024, Pakistan Society of Criminology. A historical investigation into the shared origins of the Ukrainian population and European peoples is conducted, emphasizing Slavic heritage and communal settlements. The regulatory framework governing the progress of Ukrainian culture in its independent state is delineated. The primary hypotheses and trajectories for the advancement of Ukrainian cultural policy, as articulated in the "Long-term Strategy for the Development of Culture until 2025," are expounded upon. In aggregate, it is ascertained that the outlined objectives within the Strategy currently fall short of addressing the imperatives incumbent upon the nation to affirm its national identity and align with the attainments of European civilization. It is discerned that the absence of a cultural diplomacy framework in Ukraine stands in stark contrast to the substantial outcomes achieved through this paradigm across the majority of European Union member states. Additionally, an exploration of both shared features and distinctions in cultural policy and strategy between the European Union as an entity and select member countries is undertaken. The European Union's strategy, characterized by its dynamic and targeted approach, is notable for its commitment to preserving the integrity of nations and ethnicities. This strategy places considerable emphasis on respecting the distinct national identities and traditions of each country and its constituent nations. Of particular significance is the instance of the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Italy, and Finland, wherein the cultivation of cultural diplomacy has been a focal point. These examples underscore the diverse routes undertaken to achieve cultural recognition and formulate distinct cultural strategies for each nation. This serves as an indication that cultural policy ought to evolve into a responsibility shared among the state, diplomatic representatives, and cultural stakeholders within Ukraine. The ongoing conflict instigated by Russia underscores once again the multi-dimensional trajectory characterizing Ukraine's cultural evolution. It underscores Ukraine's heightened dedication to unity and the rejuvenation of the European principles that were proclaimed during the twentieth century
